PacMed Pulmonology – Canyon Park

Our Approach

Pulmonologists are physicians who diagnose and treat diseases and disorders of the lungs and respiratory system. There is a diverse array of conditions that can affect the lungs, and many, such as asthma, are quite common. Lung disease affects more than 35 million Americans.

Pulmonary medicine, also known as chest or respiratory medicine, is an Internal Medicine subspecialty. Pulmonologists must first become board certified in Internal Medicine before becoming certified in Pulmonology. At Pacific Medical Centers, our pulmonologists have specialized knowledge and skills and are certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and Pulmonary Disease.
